I use the cabilis firepot all the time, without a firepots bind. The middle of kunark is a massive dead zone with the only port locations being in 3/4 corners of the continent. Entering via the Cab firepot is a massive boost to accessing the main areas of Kunark.
This can't be accurate.

Emerald Jungle port already gets you to the Field of Bone dungeons and the east side of Kunark, OT hammer for Howling Stones and Frontier Mountains and Warslik's Woods, Skyfire port for Chardok, Dreadlands port for KC.

If you're bound close to docks so that you can get to the firepots relatively quick, Cabilis itself is the only place you're getting to faster by running to the firepots, and that's only if the wait for the boat wasn't too long.

What port for FV/LOIO/SONH? Warslick is right there, FOB is a pita from EJ, way easier from cab. Can run to KC just as fast as port to DL

How is FOB a PITA from EJ? You just run up the wall straight from the port spot and you're right by the ZL lol

You can't just run from port in to zoneline, you have to run opposite direction, find the stair case in the jungle and then back track down to ZL.

Fun fact trying to get to FOB from EJ was why I quit EQ back on live. Was running around invis trying to find the stairs, something see invis broke me, running around training mobs around the zone hugging the zoneline thinking these stairs have to be here somewhere. Died, no idea where corpse was, and CR was much harder and scarier back then.

If your druid isn't evacing you from EJ to the FoB zoneline, you aren't tipping him enough.

Same for FV: Skyfire, run to BW, evac to DL zoneline.

Succor is a level 57 spell: the vast majority of Dial a Porters aren't that high.

But if you're in a hurry and a 57+ porter is online, that's the way to travel (and it's also a great way to get to Qeynos before the Surefall Glade port arrives).

Wow I thought everyone knew the Levitate trick!

I'm excited to save you a lot of time going forward. With Lev on there's a spot on the wall that you can run all the way up it to the top of the cliff. I can't remember exactly where it is, but I'm pretty sure you can just run straight from the Druid port in spot to the cliff wall and run straight up it. There might be some spots where you can only get like halfway up and then have to drift back and forth trying to find the spot to get all the way to the top. Been awhile since I've done it. But yeah you can def Lev-run all the way up that cliff.
