Turns out EQ PvP was a once in a life time experience due being the first online mmo, super high population/community involvement with the players.
EQEMU, from Image/Devnoob box to VZTZ, to Red99, to ROZ, have all been low population PVE grinders. Red99 was basically a one guild grind box throughout all of its history. The idea of having 6-7 guilds with 3000 players online every zone packed, fighting, raiding enemy zones, 150+ people fighting in Plane of Fear/Plane of Hate can't be comprehended by your average EMU player. I really feel bad for the peeps that never got to live it. | ||

The culture now on ROT or Red99 is absolute silence lol. All the people in Tempest copied Tune's style so there's literally no involvement. The low population is multiplied by people behaving like 0 personality bots and makes it completely empty-feel.

There is a reason that people have been asking for a new server for at least 10 years on this server.
Nilbog Rogain I beg And make it classic for the sake of all things holy. The single act of having global OOC and auction channels critically damaged the possibility of an in game hub. Not to mention other non classic changes that were all detrimental to the server. Please try again. We had a good time while it was good.
