Why are algorythms so bad? Like, if I look at a video on tuesday at 2pm

Next time I open up youtube at 2pm on a tuesday, maybe THEN show a suggestion like that video.

Like, these algorythms seem to do 1 thing:

"what was the last video you clicked on, now only show that"

Immediately: "change entire algorithm to be this 1 video"

The videos on my feed, are the same like 4 videos EVERY DAY, I have literally thousands of subscribed channels. But the SAME 4 channels occupy multiple thumbnails on the youtube home screen.

How is it 2025, and the tech industry was "bUilT On AlGoRythMs!" and this is the best we got?

You can't even help the algortym in any way "dont show me this channel" .. "why?" .. "option 1. I have seen the video 2. I dont like the video"
