plus it's a logistics game, we got what like 15 million illegal immigrants? you'd have to arrest and deport like 10,000 people a day to get that done in 4 years

deporting illegal immigrants who have broken criminal laws is a reasonable goal, and it will play well in the press

that's how you actually fix the problem of too many economic migrants, i remember the stats on the amount of money sent home by people being insane.

like entire local economies relying on family members in the states to send money back, forgot which country it was but the pie chart showing like GDP or something had a massive chunk of just money from the states entering the economy

illegal immigration is pretty much a civil offense not a criminal offense

pam bondi can't arrest and deport 10,000 people a day

they simply cannot physically make it happen

the best we can hope for is illegal immigrants with previous records and/or current charges to be rounded up and deported

the democrats are right when they say these illegal immigrants are cooking our food, picking our produce, butchering our animals, cleaning our hotel rooms, etc

it's like the illegal drug trade being tens of billions of dollars, the nation cannot afford to lose that commerce all at once

But I will try….and I think that fear will do what physical deportation can’t. Illegal parents already don’t want to send their kids to school for fear of deportation. They certainly won’t be as bold about what jobs they do, depending on the exposure to gov’t it might have in some form

Fear alone will greatly shrink the amount of illegals in public at any venue, would be my venture

Even if the odds were the exact same as before, illegals have just been reminded the possibility exists

Even if it were a slim chance, if you knew every time you went out in public there was a 1/5000 chance you would be sent to some shithole like Haiti and not able to get back as easily as before, would it alter your behavior when it came to going out?

It would for me, but I am the type to try to play it safe

people from third world countries have chosen to illegally immigrate as a life-plan for over 60 years now, the same as a hard working kid from the USA dreams of getting into a good college

illegal immigration isn't new, people marching through mexico in 3,000 person caravans is new, over the past ~10 years it's not that people have come here illegally, it's that they have overwhelmed any possibility of stable border control.

this is a massive breach of national security, as we now have little to no idea who is coming, from where, and what they are bringing with them.

if someone wanted to smuggle in some ridiculous weapons, we would be nearly unable to stop them.

this new wave of immigration enforcement has very little to do with the dishwashers and seasonal farm hands, but that's how you have to sell it to the average citizen with their 100 IQ that never reads anything about the world they live in
