yeah we're 100% past the stage of the big named ones doing like wide ranging helpful shit, Microsoft had a legit real world consequence to their stock price from Bing going full bipolar screaming girlfriend on people and calling them nazis n shit. and that was after they had a chatbot that became a nazi from 4chan tweeting shit at it in named Tay from years ago.

these people are trying to make fucking money and they will lobotomize the shit out of these things to prevent news headlines, so right now their focus is on it turning emails into bulletin points and summarizing documents and other boring shit.
