Game Mechanics: Low level Necro pets are extremly strong and can double attack (?)

I feel like (necro) pets need some quite deep research and not just for low levels.

These hits are from a level 44ish pet skeleton against a level 50 giant in frontier mountains.

I have no classic info on pet hit distributions versus reds, admittedly the giant was under a -20 ac debuff but the frequency of max hits against such a high level mob does seem suspicious. Certainly my pc character who outlevelled the giant didn’t see distributions anywhere near so good.
