Every god damn youtube recommended short for me is now something clearly AI generated, mostly of fake "plane accidents" that are just screen captures of a flight sim.

They're like "Hey check it out you-guys, this pilot saves the day. Listen to my realistic yet strangely uncanny voice.", and there's no kind of disclaimer or notice that it's not real footage. So many grandmas getting fooled.

i enjoy no longer being a demographic that is advertised to at all anymore, the quicker people stop getting mad at companies ruining shit from their childhood like Star Wars or Dungeons and Dragons or whatever the better because its about to get so much fucking worse with AI

yeah i stole it from Matt Colville, only content creator i watch really he's a GenX gamer designer / writer and was talking about it during a stream how when you reach a certain age you basically don't exist anymore as far as market research goes for shit like media when people we're asking him what he thought of movies and games not catering to us anymore.

However in 2025 I have a different take.

They are indeed complaing about livin gin a multi decade age of extreme exess and freedom to do whatever they wanted.

I don't think todays society, and I don't even think in 2010, we were "bored" I think we were desperately trying to grow with the economy. I think we are miserable not bored now.

And I think this clip perfectly encapsulates how the boomer society, had it all, but were still misanthropes.

We are not bored this generation, we're depressed.
