EQ live outside of TLP is literally considered a zombie MMO now my necro is lvl 115 and more bots farming Krono were/are on my server than humans actually playing when i blitzed through those Darkpaw reboots of Kunark,Velious,and Luclin in a month a couple years ago

so comparing 25-yr old rotting corpse's current stats to this is wild to begin with straight up.

also, if the game was any good you wouldn't be wasting your time posting about tbh, you'd be playing.

The hate is because there is a long list of Kickstarter games/mmos that have been outright scams. With 10 years of development and this is all they have to show, it's hard not to make assumptions at that point.

That makes sense. I guess I just want it to be good and succeed, and I have to at least respect the fact they released *something*. If it's like OP is describing, it sounds great to me. I'd try it myself but I don't have time to play more than 1 mmo, and I'm currently a p99er so.

MMO's are kind of a risky business model and I totally get why they all went free to play with microtransactions and shit, but MAN it was magic when they were new and unmolested. I miss that feeling (which is why I play here).

I remember when brad was still alive he posted on somethingawful, and he made a thread for pantheon in the games subforum and everyone just ran him off the forum. Nothing but hostility, made me sad. Dude wasn't perfect but I mean cmon, he was clearly a fellow huge nerd like the rest of us.

yeah, I would look at them launching even this as a major achievement. Like I imagine getting this game actually onto our PC's was exactly like that movie 1917.

I also don't like how the camera is zoomed out so far. I can't get immersed with those wow cams.
