I am currently a level 16 human monk I have researched a bit about these questions and having trouble finding answers to these questions there seems to be some debate.

what is the math to understand a weapons delay to damage ratio?

what type of weapon is best in the main hand ?

1. a higher delay higher damage?
2. lower delay lower damage?

what type of weapon is best in the off hand ?

1. a higher delay higher damage?
2. lower delay lower damage?

when does this change to 2hb and then back to 1hb?

is there any reason you wont goto a few kittens raids and parse on vindi, you can post it as the log and we can parse it if you want. what do you have against hitting raid targets?

I've provided plenty of data to support my theory thus far. The same cannot be said for the other posters. It is time for other people to step up if they want to prove something or challenge something.

Feel free to parse Corudoth and then give us logs for both Corudoth and Vindi. That would be great!

I am not against it. You simply keep asking for data while rarely supplying your own. A few parses here and there without logs or even telling us the other people's weapons isn't much to go on.

It is quite one sided to be honest. But please, keep pretending that I am the only one here who needs to supply data. I've given way more data than you have.

I am not sure what Ripqozko is even arguing. My current theory supports the idea that Abashi's would out DPS FoN + Gharns on raid targets, which nobody is disagreeing with. I am just showing people that 2h doesn't always beat 1h. I think he just didn't read.

Incorrect again.

He provided 2 parses without logs in this thread, and couldn't even tell us the weapons the other players were using. I asked him multiple times too.

With parses alone we also lose context, so we don't know if any factors were affecting DPS.

It would be great if he actually provided a few parses with both Cek Sword and his BiS 1h setup. If he gave us the logs, I could plugin in his data to my formula provided below, and we can see if it holds up. Other posters could provide data too!

Hey I’m in Kittens. I was 5th on King Tormax last quake at just over 24k
It was a bad parse at only 70dps.
Or I’m making it up.
Or worse it’s what Gameparse told me and I’m just a sheep.

If you are respectful to me, I respond in kind. If I am attacked, I defend myself. Pretty simple.

I don't know why people are so offended when asked for logs. It's a civil request.

I am not sure why I should be forced to believe Gamparse is accurate after yourself and Troxx said it has issues. That's not very civil.

You can easily provide both a Gamparse and the Logs as well. So much drama because of logs, and I cannot fathom why.

Nobody is claiming you are making things up when you are asked for logs. Logs provide context for the fight, and ensure there wasn't an error with your parsing program.

I don't want to force you to believe anything, but are you willing to listen to an explanation of why Gamparse is generally completely accurate but in one scenario produces accurate damage numbers but inaccurately low dps numbers?
