If you have to uninstall to have any semblance of healthy moderation that suggests you are an addict. And if you are an addict stopping that addiction for another person is a fool’s errand. People are fallible, people make mistakes, people hurt us. Your wife isn’t perfect and never was, she made mistakes too. Relationships are a two way street, no one is ever all the wrong in one. Doing something as difficult as giving up an addiction or even a hobby that is a big part of our identity shouldn’t rely on fallible other’s opinions
Do it for you, and only for you, first and foremost. Not for your wife, who you probably wouldn’t get back anyway because I’m sure there’s other reasons than that, but for yourself and your own future. Or else if you’re not an addict then moderate, if you think games are somehow impeding with your relationships
What Duik said about paths you have with your kids is right, I won’t bother commenting on that then
