What math theorem am I observing in the following word problem?

On the days that you are sexually active, that is to say, the days on which you engage in sexual activity with a person other than yourself - what is the average number of other persons you engage with in sexual activities on the days on which you are sexually active?

This should never return a value lower than 1, right?
