![]() So I havent played eq since probably 2005 and just heard about this. I have never tried out any of the eqemu and it took me a while to get this far. I finally got up to being able to select the server and when I selected project 1999 it said I had some kind of UIerror and to look in the .txt folder (im really not good with this stuff so bear with me please.)
The document looked like this. UIErrorLog created at Thu Aug 18 20:20:00 2011 [Thu Aug 18 20:20:01 2011] XML reference error! Ui2DAnimation[6]:A_ChatMax[634] referenced but NEVER declared! ![]() Are you using the Titanium Client?
When you are extracting your files, are you extracting them straight into your EQ directory? If so are you sure UAC isn't blocking them?

![]() Im using the SOF client (already had it for some reason). I just tried extracting the files again and Im getting the same UI errors I had in my first post and cant get into the game anymore.
I extracted eqchanges straight into the EQ file, and uichanges into ui/default folder (no idea what UAC is).

![]() User Access Control. It will block your extraction program from putting files into your EQ directory without telling you. Whats likely happening is that you think your extracting the files into your directory, but your not. To get them there, extract the files to another area, then drag them into your directory.
