Armor is fun and I like collecting it but I wouldn't worry about it much as a Necro. You could level effectively naked as a Necro if needed.
If you feel like investing some time into it you could level up tailoring and build yourself a set of https://wiki.project1999.com/Raw_Silk_Armor to fill in all your slots.
