error joining server

I was having same issue. Did this and it fixed it for me. Maybe I was just lucky too.

Use the search bar and type in cmd to bring up the command prompt window.
Type in..... ipconfig /renew
Type in..... ipconfig /flushdns

Worked for me. Good luck!
