Game Mechanics: lvl 60 monks keeping skills and triple attack after being deleveled to 52

Off topic and never having lvled a necro, (or even been grouped with a 50+ necro) these lvl 60 monks get sacrificed for necros to cast necrorez? And get good atk vs Naggy/Vox fights?
Essence Emeralds not lore so can lug a few around. Wow been a player since jan 2000 and never understood the whole delevel thing. What a noob.
