Your entire argument is hinged on the idea that ideas need to be controlled. You keep going back to that and it's ultimately why you are wrong.

Don't expect to reason with a far lefty. If you want to understand where this belief is coming from read Repressive Tolerance by Herbert Marcuse. This basically gives extreme lefties permission to say that they believe anything 'resembling' right-wing speech or having right-wing outcomes is allowed to be suppressed.

It's actually a European idea that has been adopted by far lefty Americans which is in opposition to the universal American value of the 1st Amendments Freedom of Speech that 100% of Americans enjoy.
