Probably because it is now a platform to soapbox, recruiting tool and spreads hate with no news value. The checks and balances it use to have are virtually gone.

The site is hemorrhaging money.

Here is to Musk continuing to tank it.

According to Elon Musk’s own math, the company formerly known as Twitter has lost 90% of its value and could be worth just $4 billion
Oh NOW it's a platform to soapbox? Are you aware of the Twitter files? Now it's spreading hate?

Musk did not buy Twitter to make money. He bought it to end the woke mind virus. It is now the only major social media platform that isn't infiltrated by deep left ideology. He recognized that having all social platforms pushing the same fringe ideology was bad for Free Speech. These things matter and I think having X turn into what it is now, is a huge reason we are now seeing the fringe left ideas being called out for what they are, anti-human.

Social media outside of X are and were pressured by the Government to push ideas that they supported. This is bad. I'm sorry that now a single major social media platform doesn't champion your beliefs.

Charisma from one good talker or organization from a foreign country can fool and independent voter with simple short phrases and memes used as propaganda.

Getting rid of the bad actors or silencing them can prevent extremes from ever occurring.

Elon Musk’s Twitter Files Are a Feast for Conspiracy Theorists

Musk bought it because he didn't like getting trashed on in the platform. He got swindled on it by his own admittance.

Speech found offensive to some portion of the public can be turned against minority and dissenting views to the detriment of all.

All I hear is X meets your outlet for your rage where you can relate to their short phrases of soap-boxing propaganda.

The status quo and its maintenance are killing millions of people per year and rapidly destroying our planet's capacity to host human life. This is a fact. Stick your head in the sand if you want. I care about the survival of the human species.

it's not worship, it's a reality based assessment, and a word of caution to fellow humans: watch this guy, he's gaining too much power for one person to hold

dude is working on, and succeeding at:

Internet replacement "Everything App" (like how back in the day, AOL took the most commonly used features of the internet and put them all in one client, Elon wants that on a much much larger scale/scope.)

Satellite Telecom monopoly

Electric Vehicle monopoly

Bio-mechanical medicine monopoly

Extra-planetary access monopoly

what's next? human monopoly?

It's been incredibly revealing to watch how far lefties have responded to the Twitter change of ownership to X. Botten is pro-censorship of voices he disagrees with. He doesn't want adults to have all the information available to make decisions with and instead wants adults to have only corporate sponsored information. Elon, who owns X, claimed on JRE that Twitter censored conservative voices 10x compared with liberal or left voices.

As someone that is a liberal I find the calls for censorship by the far left appalling. People like Origen and Botten are acting against the concepts in John Stuart Mill's On Liberty. The willingness to encourage the kind of extreme left biased censorship that was occurring on Twitter before the purchase is revealing in its depravity against the concept that sunlight is the best disinfectant. This is far left marcusian repressive tolerance type shit.

Individuals such as Botten have adopted an anti-American way of looking at speech. Botten is indicating that he doesn't trust adults to decide what is best for themselves. He is claiming that the information must be curated because humans are gullible to "one good talker" etc who can convince them of something Botten doesn't like. The mainstream media model believes this as well and has championed the concept of misinformation from sources that are not 'authoritative'. The USA public has responded by mostly stop watching mainstream media and instead getting info online.

Botten is indicating he believes there is one correct way for this information to be disseminated and that we Americans must all digest what we are told. Botten is unwittingly for the status quo. He does not want humans to progress to become better versions of themselves by holding their corrupt Govts and corrupt businesses that take advange of corrupt Govt to account.

As a business decision, Musk lost most of X's value. It has been a business failure. Elon is a business man and from a business perspective X hasn't been a win. Whether there is some cultural value to what he did is in the eye of the beholder and it appears Elon seems to think the consolation prize is good enough for him according to his last interview. Elon paid tens of billions of dollars so far lefties couldn't rely on Twitter to brigade and shame people on the internet.

Satellite Telecom monopoly this will be largely successful

Electric Vehicle monopoly this has a lot of new competition and won't be as successful long term

Bio-mechanical medicine monopoly going nowhere

Extra-planetary access monopoly now you're making stuff up

what's next? human monopoly?

Ok Paul Ehrlich. The reality is that Earth is vast and humans are not everywhere on Earth. It can actually support 10x as many humans as it currently does if it had to. We would have to migrate to other parts of the world. The evolution of the human species is exactly that. We migrated all over the world to mitigate climate change.

You believe in a version of the apocalypse. You don't care about the survival of humans. You just are gullible to far lefty extreme belief system that doesn't require you to think for yourself.

he recently told employees. Being the “digital town square,” as he has described Twitter in the past, isn’t enough. For X to succeed in Musk’s eyes, the platform needs to compete with YouTube, LinkedIn, FaceTime, dating apps, and the entire banking industry.
