Rogues are very disadvantaged vs hunters in classic. They are just too susceptible to being kited after the scatter-trap :/

Yeah. He plays a Hunter dwarf on live too.

I played a rogue on release. Yeah I tried to stay away from hunters.

Saw the end to this. After hearing Payo went down I was hoping Ziko could pull it out.

Sadly no.

Remember the days of Rogue Craft and Warlocks upset they had problems. Well a Warlock today in classic pvp won 50K.

This was so awesome to watch.

Before all the add-ons watching something like nerf sap 7 (classic PVP) was just invigorating.

This rogue was insane (ignore all his flare fillers)

Killing often 3 or more max levels consecutively.

I haven’t watched the finals but I could have guessed a SL/SL lock would win. I said many times on this board that even in vanilla WoW, SL/SL locks were hands down the best duelers. They are just too tanky, it’s a broken spec for 1v1 and I believe the gap even widens further with gear

Assuming the winner was Snutz, the dude was a pro player for so long at WoW that I believe he even got a job at Blizzard in the past

It does seem like the OTK tournament, as entertaining as it was (skim/watched the finals all the way through), definitely did seem like something not only for the turbo sweaties, but also only the turbo sweaty streamers, who got huge assistance from their simp communities

It was unfair in regards to the simps coming out to serve there players.
Ridiculous sports fans come to mind.

And OTK are players and can only trust the participating players that they didn't get geared up and hand held. If the OTK refs (player themselves) were GMs or Guides they could have monitored it.

Lets hope that Blizzard picks up on the amount of fans and makes something more sanctioned.

I guess you could say the player skill was still there.

I loved the mention of the tidal charm trinket. I had one of those. Lots of fun before it was nerfed and lost from the game. I never new there was sleep sand and did you see? No melee used the Green Dragonscale Breastplate. The proc even works on wand strikes against the player.

Payo could have really used sleep sand waited for the hunter flare to disappear and got his opening on the hunter he lost too. Oh well.

Yea I’d be tempted to buy a hunter on the perma classic era realms only because I missed the deadline to xfer the one I pimped out in 2019 classic release, and wouldn’t want to bother with gearing another

Just getting a geared one and jumping right into BG’s. But alas, any decently geared account is like $1K….AND….the BG’s are probably still premade-only, where I would want to play PuG v PuG
