A bards tale passed down from Itunz to Modd to You!

In eons past, the world of Norrath was born;
A realm full of magic, awaiting new scorn.
Enter Veeshan, the great Dragon Wurm Queen,
Who laid her eggs within this land serene.

But other gods too noticed the wondrous place;
Petty and jealous, they sought to leave their grace.
Brell Serilis was first, from his dark Plane of Underfoot,
A realm filled with caves, shadows cloaked and aloof.

Through a portal he created deep within Norrath's belly,
All manner of creatures did the Duke of Underfoot seed so heartily.
Brell then returned home, his portal sealed by Living Stone;
A labyrinthine chamber where mystic energy was known to roam.

With the other gods Brell conspired in hushed tones,
To discuss Norrath's fate and claim it as their own.
The Great Mother Tunare, Oceanlord Prexus were there;
Rallos Zek, the Warlord, kept his distance with care.

Brell shared Veeshan's discovery of this new world,
A realm powerful beyond what mere mortals could unfurl.
He proposed an alliance where all gods could share a piece;
All save Rallos Zek agreed, unaware of Brell's deceitful lease.

Norrath was divided amongst these mighty beings of power,
To keep the Dragon Queen in check and maintain her dour hour.
Brell created Dwarves deep beneath mountains stout;
Prexus left his children Kedge within abysmal ocean routes.

Tunare made Elves to grace Norrath's surface with beauty and grace,
While Rallos Zek chose Giants for their fierce form and steadfast place.
These races were chosen as guardians against the dragon queen's schemes;
A vigilant watch upon her brood and dreams.

And so it came to be that these gods of old,
Left their indelible marks upon Norrath's fold.
Each race born from their divine hands, tasked to guard the realm;
Through perils and trials both great and small, they'd stand firm in this newborn world's helm.
