Oh the memories …
Is this genuinely a return to the very beginning of EverQuest? (I haven’t taken the plunge yet)

I wanted the oldschool experience a few years back when I signed up to Daybreak and was incredibly disappointed to find it wasn’t true EverQuest anymore.

I started again last week after not playing for.... goodness, 20 years?

What race and class did you go with?

I think it's great, started up last year and just keep starting up new characters all below Level 25; and I can honestly say I have only had 1 negative interaction with a player so far. Everyone is generally nice and helpful to each other. Way more so than back in the day. The game is as hard as I remember, but in a good way and a lot of fun.
