I don't think it's so audacious to want equal protection under the law, nor is it so insane to resist the state interfering in your medical care for no logical reason.

If we follow conservative anti-trans logic, we should also ban all contact sports for anyone under 18 but I am sure that would meet with bipartisan resistance. Far more common, can potentially harm children, and widely practiced without explicit doctor sign-off.

Not that I'd actually go for a ban like that, it's stupid, just like anti-trans legislation.

Yeah agreed, alphabet people are the most insecure group the world has ever known. It's not enough to pass laws in their favor, and fly flags and banners and have openly queer people in positions of power.

These people demand that you affirm their existence with your own words an actions, they aren't demanding recognition, they are demanding fealty. They seek to force us all to bend the knee and kiss the ring.

That was in response to Trexller trying to connect modern trans issues to gay marriage. Thankfully, gay marriage is protected now but I am sure they are working to overturn that.

There are obviously plenty of reasons to outlaw various unethical medical procedures, but I have not seen any good ones to outlaw gender transition therapy in adults or minors.

I've seen a shitload of bad reasoning from the jackals on this board pertaining to gender transition therapy, but nothing logically sound.

Lawmakers, however, don't need good reasons to pass bad laws and never have.
