I work in behavioral healthcare, I know how easy it is to make the documentation match the desired outcome, just omit certain things, emphasize others. Don’t even have to outright lie. And it will get past even an audit

“Re posed as a trans-identified patient who had experienced gender dysphoria before but not for six months or more. According to the current version of DSM-5, he shouldn’t be diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Plume quickly set up a virtual meeting with Re where he acknowledged he didn’t know the effects orchiectomy, a procedure to remove testicles, would have on him, and made clear that he didn’t consider himself gender dysphoric. And yet, after a 22-minute video call with Plume, the provider sent Re a letter only three days later declaring that he “reports significant, ongoing gender dysphoria” and strongly recommends testicle removal. The letter explicitly mentioned that Re had met WPATH criteria for gender dysphoria and testicle removal” And I imagine what they will do is use the nurse as a fall girl, reprimand or fire her, and claim this is not their standard procedure. And ultimately change nothing

And I don’t consider Plume’s intentions to be anything but trying to be helpful
It was just like when my dad wanted to go on TRT, his endo said “this is what you have to to tell me your symptoms are for me to sign you up for this” The doctors want to give the patients what they want, with the least amount of hassle. They are trying to be helpful, not ruin their lives

Why would you have more expertise than Unsung on the mental health of children? He probably has as much insight as anyone except maybe teachers and psychiatrists
