Do you think a coniving psychopath who has amassed 50 billion dollars is that much more exceptional than a generally honest person who lives day to day (ironically because of the admitedly clever manipulation of the systems in place) doing some exceptional things that dont generate obscene amounts of income?

Also, people who complain about rich people never specify how much money you are allowed to have before you magically become evil, but presumably it is an amount at least 1 dollar greater than what they currently have themselves. How many profitable electric cars and reusable rockets have you invented?

Poor immigrants from all over the world are able to come to the united states and become extremely wealthy. It happens all the time. You really don't have a good excuse if you were *born* here in the first place.

What about people that don't deserve to be? I was born rich, I never did anything to earn it, and I'll benefit from it the rest of my life. Not close Elon Musk rich but enough that my entire life was easy. He was born far richer and he had all the right ladders to get him into the rooms he needed to be in to leverage his talent for sniffing out nickels.

That's why he doesn't 'deserve' it, because the net effect of someone being able to accumulate that much wealth and power is negative across society. In the presence of two parties that continually sell out the country to moneyed interests, beyond a certain point, the power that level of wealth brings is immoral. Why do you think both Republicans and Democrats have the same frustrating feeling of not having a say in anything? Our institutions are highly dysfunctional. They need to be fixed. In the meantime, once someone hits $1 billion, give them a plaque that says they win capitalism, and tax the fuck out of anything over that. That goes for both George Soros and Rupert Murdoch. Fuck them both it's too much power.

Agree on almost everything, especially the top much power. But speaking of immoral, I think stealing their money is just an immoral of a solution. Needs to be better ones
