I had a piece of shit 256mb gfx card, which was integrated with the whole 1gig stick of ram i had, and a 1.8ghz processor and I ganked hella ppl in some noobie cave during the vanguard beta til they nerfed my sword. sure it ran like shit, but it was playable

Friend is in the swtor beta and he has an average wow PC and it runs swtor fine.

the games graphics look roughly like WoW, maybe a little better

Here is the minimum posted specs for Swtor

Windows XP, Vista/7 CPUAMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better · Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better RAMWindows XP: 1.5GB · Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB · PCs using a built-in graphical chipset, 2GB RAM recommended. VideoATI X1800 or better* · nVidia 7800 or better* · Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better*
DVD-ROM8x or better *Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

His launcher and game runs fine on 4gigs of ram.

Instanced football pvp mini game then an Open world pvp planet.

Other then that if you play on a pvp server you can die everywhere but the newbie zone.

If you could read the testing forums....you'd see otherwise.

Some people with 16GB of RAM are CONSTANTLY running OOM.
