Aronofsky movies are great, mostly. I loved The Fountain and Mother!

The Whale was depressing. The Wrestler was good but depressing.

That movie was also interesting. I recently re-read Exodus and parts of Numbers and we re-watched The Prince of Egypt, too.

Strange World was pretty cool. Saw it in the cinema. It did have a teenage crush scene that was proper cringe and left me wondering if i was a homophobe. Saw another movie with a homo couple later which actually came across as cute so I realised I wasn’t such a biggot but the scene in Strange World was just awkward cringe.
