But wait, confused myself again…
If the Rogue Epic has 40% haste and the worn Seething Fury buff it provides gives another 40 and that stacks with Nalot’s quickening = 100% and haste capped? Or Epic + VoG for the 20 attack bonus and well over 100 haste. Or with great gear using 41 worn haste and VoG = 99% allowing you to swap out ragebringer too? So if I understand it, ragebringer is king without a strong haste buff?

https://wiki.project1999.com/Ragebringer Lists 40% haste and a worn effect Seething Fury https://wiki.project1999.com/Seething_Fury 1 : Increase Attack Speed by 40% 2 : Increase AC by 9 3 : Increase ATK by 40 So does the Epic actually have no haste and only the worn Seething Fury effect which gives haste or does the Epic have 40% haste and the Seething fury effect should only have entries 2 and 3 listed?

Years back worn haste effects that were also shared with other stats were broken in various ways, for example the worn haste on Seething Fury applied 40% haste to melee, but not to melee abilities like backstab. This was a change when they were 'classically' removing some extrenuous data from item inspections like haste percent. Discussed here And here and all these This is fixed now. Ragebringer is 40% haste+whatever stats This required rogues to also equip a different haste item like a cloak of flames or some rando 41% item to get haste on backstabs. To fix this feature of the server, they modified the ragebringer to give 40% haste, and have seething fury as a worn effect. This allowed backstab to be modified by a worn haste. Like all worn haste, only the top worn item counts. Every single slot could have haste, if all of your items for example had 1% worn haste, except for one slotthat was 2%...you have 2% haste. You want 41% haste on a rogue at level 60, this is critical for 60 rogues as the extra 1% when timed millisecond perfect and under 120ms latency (iirc) allows for a third backstab with duelist discipline while using VoG for haste. Pre 60 and not using duelist, or using shissar/AQ/WR/Swift it is of no consequence really. But VoG has +atk and is vastly superior. As for the 20% on eyepatch, every melee and caster should have one. It's an amazing face item for the effort replaced only by doze, vulak, and maybe one other mask in the game for an enchanter. But the 20% haste clicky is a great boost and a solid clicky to stack junks if someone is about to aego you post rez etc. And all classes that can be gnome, should be gnome. No exceptions, just use an AoN for quad maging/jumping out of doze pit etc....

Cool, Learning a lot! I'm a melee analphabet.
Trying to figure out how to stat a gnome next. Made a set of complete fantasy BIS (I think?) gear and looked at where the stat holes are. In one way I guess it doesn't matter other than sta if you proc primal and/or are buffed and I'd guess dex would be the 2nd most important if not the most important attribute until you DO proc it. https://wiki.project1999.com/Magelo_Green:Kapwdwd (feel free to C&C my clueless picks) Unsurprisingly going 25sta and 5 dex seems to be the sensible thing (or maybe 23sta and 7dex to cap dex w/o primal buff) from an ultra-end game "grats you beat the game already" kinda viewpoint. Would be rough as hell starting with only 60str though if not twinked, even worse if on a fresh server... but I have OCD about this kinda thing.
