I could list several things republicans won’t own. But that’s not the point of the post I made. Mainstream conspiracy thought in our society is toxic to our democracy. If people can’t rely on what is actually true, and if there is an “alternative fact” that confirms their beliefs, some people have proven to believe whatever is most convenient for them.

Flat earthers, Paul is dead, the moon landing was a fake, aliens are running our earth, lizard people are politicians, the earth is hollow, Alex Jones=Bill Hicks…pizzagate, Sandy book crisis actors, the 2020 election was stolen

All of these are fun to discuss, and I assume fun to believe. You’re in on a secret that way.

You're absolutely right. I don't know what is real anymore outside of some hard science that mostly goes a long way to attempt to describe the simulation we experience as reality. Even hardcore physicists https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michio_Kaku

That said I truly try to aid in governing in a grounded way. Which is exactly why I asked my mom help me chose my vote this year.
