I looked into this a bit a while ago.

The item textures exist in the client, but it will take client fixes to work properly. Likely, an overall cleanup of how the special velious helms are handled. In this case, the client doesn't see it as a valid texture, therefore doesn't load properly.

Is the cleanup able to possibly handle how custom helms are rendered on female models? I know it may be classic and all but having their hair stick out the back with custom helms, especially the erudite version feels like a more aesthetic issue that could be fixed.
