I was not unbanned at the beginning of the thread, and I will make that post as well. I think I was a bit panicked then, but you are absolutely right that since I am not now I can make that post.
I think I felt the need to justify because all the judgement was passed down so quickly and I didn't really understand what recourse I had. Then just getting shit on rather than any help just compounded. One person told me to check logs, but I guess I didn't have them enabled. He linked me to wiki that said "You can type /log on to enable logging for a session, or edit the eqclient.ini file to reflect Log=TRUE if you wish to enable it permanently." So I will edit my .ini file so that if I come back ever I'll definitely have logs.
I was just looking for help, in the only panicked way that made sense at the time.
It is also hard to do something "you and him" when that person cannot be reached.

Anyways I will make the post and hope he responds to it. Given the nature of these forums, I suppose it will just be asshats responding with "o ya thats me meet me in EC on my main and ill take it back no worries". The fact that you overlook that obvious flaw in your plan might give you further insight as to why I'm relinquishing this game to the likes of you :P

Yes, this forum is full of people acting like assholes, and our forum moderators have zero interest in doing anything about it (for whatever reason: maybe they like trolls, maybe they're just too busy as unpaid volunteers ... who knows?)

Whatever the reason, that's the reality ... in the forums. But keep in mind people in the game are nothing like the people in the forums, and in fact many of the people trolling the forums don't even play the game anymore.

So what I'm trying to say is, don't give up on the game just because our forums are toxic. The game has toxic players too, but they're a rarity.

Agreed. I also act like a complete asshole on the forums. But in-game, I am a saint. I let people have my camps, I give money to newbs, etc.

I can rest in peace. And no I am not banned, am on right now and have been able to for couple days. I am going to see if I can buy a port back to bbm and camp there. On the off chance I ever return I'd like to try mistmoore, never did it back in the day.
