i think he means why would new members join a zerg guild when there's already too many people queuing for loot.
then i think he would carry on by saying, "why not form their own zerg guild and start the loot queue at zero?"

I mean, having managed the DKP and been an officer of Dark Ascension, I can comfortably say that most people saw their first piece of raid boss encounter loot in a reasonable amount of time. It's not like there are 500 people attending raids. Much less 100. And then divide that by the number of classes, and you have a handful of raids until you DO get loot.
