I did a study which concluded wrong is the opposite of right, pro-death is the opposite of pro-life, destruction is the opposite of creation, and bent is the opposite of straight.

Arresting people who demonstrate against them is authoritarian, and probably has nothing to do with the royal family.

I think that both sides get authoritarian at the ends of the spectrum for essentially the same reason:

The reason is “we don’t trust the general public to be exposed to these concepts because we believe they will become corrupted by them”

The concepts themselves are what differ. For the left it’s things that they construe as hateful, for the right it’s things they construe as deviant

They are not important enough to me to warrant making that kind of effort.

Me demonstrating against them would also make them look important when they're not.

The democratic government tells people they have the right to 'protest' which is code for public obstruction, disturbing the peace and frightening people.

Nobody has the right to block public pavements and roads, they werent made for protesting on.

Stopping somebody going about their daily business in the public space is an act of violence.

Those sporting celebrations in town centers are no different.

They're violent riots and mutiny disguised as peaceful protests and celebrations.

It's not liberty.
