Only one of my characters crashing when it is hit

You resized the chat window where "your getting hit" is directed. If you set a window to an invalid size, the client will crash when it tries to write to it.

If you can't figure out which window - you can just delete that char's ini file and it will reset the UI to default. If you installed to program files, and don't run eqgame.exe as admin, then your ini is in your virtual profile (c:\users\username\appdata) and not the eq directory.
