What? I mean, yeah they can think fatherlessness and despair and poverty and crime are good, sure. Most black people don't though, which is probably why when polled with the question "do you want more or less police?" the vast majority report either wanting the same amount or more police in their communities. "Defund the police" is a bougie pet project of affluent white libs who don't and never will live in high crime areas.

This was not a budget cut in a vacuum but a redirection of policing fundings to other areas concerned with public safety - education and mental healthcare.

Nobody is liking bad things, goofus. It's thinking doing other ideas would make us better off and/or clearly the current scheme is failing us.

(I don't think it's a good idea myself but that's really not the point.)
