There's supposed to be gridlock, to avoid 51% of people always telling the other 49% how to live. He's only suddenly against it when they can't get stuff they want. It's funny how everyone who is unwilling to admit the fact that it's pretty likely a crime occurred focuses in on this one narrow thing of "did Trump try to grab a steering wheel"...and do you know why people focus in on that? Because it's the only real fact that's disputable. Everything else that has come out makes it clear that there were potentially criminal actions that occurred.

People are going to go down for this when the Committee refers it to the DOJ. Which IMO is a good thing. Let's get these crazy nut jobs out of everything and work on rebuilding the Republican party into something respectable that makes me proud to be a Republican.

Attorneys focus on specific facts. That's how cases are won.

If one side makes a big deal about a "fact", and the other side disagrees, it's on them to make an equally big deal in addressing that "fact."

In this situation, it's hearsay. "Bob told me Bill did this." Easy win. There's ample reason to make a big deal out of this.

1) Dems called the witness
2) Dems hyped the testimony
3) It's obvious hearsay

We should be hyping it more =) They faceplanted. We should point it out.

If the Dem case was so strong, they wouldn't be hyping hearsay. They have no case. It's all publicity to hopefully maybe slightly weaken the midterm assault coming. That's it.

Who cares about the midterms when it comes to this? I couldn't care less if the Committee has zero effect on the midterms. It's about accountability for people who tried to disrupt the democratic process for their own personal benefit. The hearings will be done and the referral to DOJ completed before the midterms...could it affect the midterms who knows but I don't care if it has zero effect on them at all, I'm just happy people are going to go down for the crimes they committed.

And I'm a Republican so this isn't an issue of political bias...the sanctity of our system is more important than anything - and everyone should feel that way, but you're so obsessed with "owning the Libs" that you'd sacrifice the good of our country just to be able to post "lol sucks Dems" on a message board.
