Yeah that offer was way more valuable than the company is, which still isn’t profitable. Because he had a 9% stake, it’s technically illegal in every modern country that isn’t the US (incontrovertibly). Here it’s still probably against SEC rules, but he isn’t Martha Stewart or poor so he’ll probably get away with it. Either way, very dumb if he isn’t following through
He will hopefully be fined $100 billion and attached to a spacex rocket at launch if there’s a second offense (market manipulation)
