Heading to Romania to spend orthodox Easter with the in-laws. We’ll be about 20km from the border of Ukraine.

I don’t know what’s worse, being that close to war or being stuck a week with the in-laws!

Within 30 minutes of arriving I’m drunk off homemade palinka and helping her dad and the drunk neighbor friend butcher a freshly slaughtered and skinned lamb carcass. They had me hack the head off with a hatchet. I’d post photos but it’s pretty brutal. Eastern Europe is crazy. Dinner tomorrow should be pretty good though!

Didn’t see anything out of the ordinary on the 2.5 hour drive from Bucharest to Braila. Not a single military vehicle. Talking to her parents here no one really seems worried at all here. Wouldn’t have even known there was a war next door.

That sounds awesome. It should be illegal to do it any other way. Prayers of gratitude for the lamb and ya'lls glorious health.

Avoided running over this young teen who timed his jay walk horribly, had to slam on the brakes

Gave him the horn in case his 2 friends didn’t notice his stupidly. Jay walking is like a state past-time here in AZ, I just did it earlier today through heavy traffic. This kid needs to get better at it or get the fuck out the road
