/pet sit increases regen rate?

Does telling your pet to sit down by '/pet sit' make it regen at an increased rate?

I briefly tried on my low necro. Every tick I typed in '/pet health' report.
At least at this level it didn't seem to make any difference.

Anyone tested this on a more professional level?

It does help a little bit at low levels. but once your pet gets the innate regen boost, it does nothing.

Guard/sit/guard seems to work differently between blue and green, so I suspect sit may be working differently between the servers or there is something odd going on via UI.
