Having to /random in order to get a chance to play the game is pretty exclusionary. That's not competition at all.

Lets not forget that writing a script to win races is exclusionary and not competitive at all.
Vanquish "won" 20 Statue races in a row using a script aka cheating, all that loot should have been destroyed. Vanquish got off with a slight slap on the wrist.
