I feel like Ukraine is totally ww3 in a bottle. We already are at war. We where and still are. Putin just chose the battle ground (unwisely). Escalating ww3 to this was a bad move for everyone.

I dont think ww3 will happen because russia is not going to just attack poland and is going to just occupy ukraine. And we've made it clear we wont attack russia over ukraine.

So I think that basically what we're looking at is a ukrainian afghanastan, could be 20 years of these types of radio chatter posts.

Although I dont know how like global attitude towards that will go, like with sanctions. That sounds hugely complicated... and like unrealistic? Like, we're not even sanctioning them right now even though we said we would put sanctions on them like the world has never seen.

I think the answer is no for Sweden because they'd have to liberalize their economy as part of the entry requirement. Sameish reason we didn't let Ukraine in yet.
