With it being so close to Christmas, why not incorporate this quest into a fun player made holiday event!

I wanted to do a Christmas giveaway this year in game with a fun little exploration/collection quest but Christmas crept up a bit too quickly for me to get organized with it.


Either way, seems fun!!

Setting it up takes a lot of work. On top of writing the scripts(which are over 3,300 words) we gotta collect items to give, also gotta make characters, get them fashioned up, keyed if necessary and parked. Then get the dialogue set up and get certain npcs set up and hope no one kills it before they serve their purpose, and if they do get killed or something is camped, run an audible (that makes sense within the story) and hope that the participants don't catch up to you before you finish the change, that sort of thing. Been working on this one off and on for a while. Wanted to do it more in the October time frame but what with work and stuff it got pushed back, and I want to do it before the holidays get in full swing. It would be cool to do a Christmas theme something but at this point it's way too late to make such a drastic change. I've spent a pretty penny just on ports all over hell and creation today and got some more crap to do tomorrow. No wonder we've not done one since January.

That being said, the time is fast approaching. I'll probably drop a post or to here as a sort of RP style countdown to the start and see what happens. See you out there!
