The bitcoin will not protect against full world dark ages collapse.
Only hard assets and ability to produce food and drink and shelter for yourself will get you through the dark ages. And in reality only a community of people that are all living in that sustainable way will be really successful as any single household will get rolled eventually even if you have landmines and every one of your small family is a great shot. Besides living in a fortified homestead for the rest of your miserable life isn't exactly living, so the best would be to create a community that can weather the storm. I would make such a community if I was a trllionaire just to have a place to go to when shtf Plus the on-ocean archology style community outer heaven from metal gear etc. But assuming the computerized world persists for some time bitcoin might stay good.

If I was stockpiling money I would definitely have enough gold and enough bitcoin to weather a storm.
And a trimaran sailboat with shit needed to keep it in service for 50 years waterworld style while fishing and growing lemons on a lemon tree and evaporating ocean water to get potable water. For the zombie pocalypse

Any zombie apocalypse style end of world scenario renders all of your wealth useless. Doesn't matter if its bitcoin, gold or cash.
Bitcoin is great, but all things in this temporal world will be burn and be gone. Quote:

one of these babies will get your family onto a transport ship. Smol price to pay for a little bit of evacuation security in your pocket! and if not you can give it to your grandson for his 13th birthday and by then it will be worth like 200 bitcash (because by then we will be using bitcoin instead of fiat)

Its really true that if you're gunna sit on bitcoin you might as well sit on some gold too. It's really expensive to mine, the value isn't going anywhere. It is used for manufacturing in many ways and would be used more commonly if only it was cheaper.

Gold, guns & bitcoin, that's my motto.
(it's not but I like the ring to it) I wonder if I could just write a book about bullshit, hording gold, guns and bitcoin and market it as a self help book and make more money than I ever would with gold, guns or bitcoin.

so I guess the deal with shit crypto (not bitcoin) is just hoping one you have put money in will go from .25 cents to 3 dollars at some point and hopefully it covers all the other crypto pyramid schemes you bought into that went no where?

problem is, the more of these scams and rugpulls that exist promising 100x gains in weeks, the worse bitcoin does. bitcoin is slow. you'll at best get a 3x by january and then at some untold moment it will catastrophically crash, according to 'the cycle.' so if you choose the wrong time, you lose. who wants that risk? so all the money flows into shitcoins which is basically just a casino, because "you never know what's the next doge" or "shib" and all that potential mcap that could be given as tithe to the king for us all to succeed, gets scammed away, and the king dies, dragging down the whole house with it that said. bitcoin might do well in the next 2 months, and every shitcoin sings roses and fairies. or it might not, and there's blood in the street. do with that info what you will
