Best/Worst Race for single group in classic

I don't know which is why I asked, but here's my answers

Fastest - Humans cause they can be chanters and are closest chanter race to Permafrost.
Slowest - Not sure, my guess is Dwarves. I just think a full group of Trolls would level faster cause of having Shaman instead of Cleric.
