With almost 8 billion humans on this planet and people getting into irl fights over dragons from a 22 year old online game I dont know if this is true anymore.

Like 200 or so years ago before modern medicine when the infant mortality rate was like 80% and dying from an infected splinter in adulthood was a high probability.. yeah sure life was sacred then but god damn. Walk around any metropolis city for awhile to really cement this.
