My question: What makes punching your 6 year old sister wrong? Do you have to be religious to think that's wrong? I want to know why you specifically believe that is wrong to do, assuming you do and aren't crazy.

Hint: You could say things like "well, punching your sister is wrong because it would cause her suffering, but a 9 month old baby can't experience suffering... I think. And so that's why it's okay.". I imagine that might be your answer, if you would answer.

You're utterly dodging all my questions. You don't have to do this circular logic thing, you can actually just answer in good faith what I asked you. Which is what I did for your question.

Like my answer was: I value human life because I am a human. For the same reason I value my own family. I think human life can explore our universe in ways no other earthly creature can, and I value that. Therefor I value human life. Do you have any idea how many amazing doctors and scientists have been aborted? Have you ever even considered that?

Please don't just keep saying "why" like a five year old. I get it that's a natural tendency, but at least barf up some kind of answer first.

I asked you pretty much the same question first and now you're mad at me for not explaining your own morality back to you. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Flee, beggar prince!

Also I'm not religious and hell is not real. I love how you always think a pro-life position has to be religiously grounded.

It's so circular and stupid. You're like "well why does human life matter??" while simultaneously being all "I care SO MUCH about female human life and their right to kill their babies!".

You're just teasing nihilism without committing to it when you pretend to care about women, but not anything else. I care about human WOMEN. But not... human babies. And also murderers shouldn't be killed for some reason, even though I care about human life but also don't. Or something. Real aristotyl over here

Haha every single post is another non-answer dodge. It's really remarkable.

This is what bad faith looks like man, please reflect at least a little.

I did explain why human life matters *to me*. But it's a dumb question. It's like asking why isn't red yellow? The jist of it is: Abortion is bad for the same reason that murdering any other innocent person is bad. And the death penalty is okay because you aren't killing an innocent person, you're killing a person guilty of the worst crime and bringing some semblance of justice to their family. Because that family is innocent, and human life is important. It's really, really not complicated.

I find it interesting that people who claim not to believe in god say "oh my god".

Then they claim oh it's just a phrase people say. Yeah, people who have a god.

---
It's also blasphemous to using god in vein. Yet we have an internet filled with OMG.

Really fascinating...

Almost like those who hate god want to program us to hate god.
You may not believe in god, but they do.
