I was unable to find the older p99 patch notes for this being removed. It should be added back in as of the July 24 2001 patch.
/target playername will now work on invisible targets as long as the character doing the targeting has the ability to see invisible. http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20010724.html

If you /Target or /RT you cannot target an Invis/Hidden player even though you have see invis

I think the issue is the Sneak portion of Hide / Sneak. I have been able to be targeted just hidden, but once Snuck I can no longer be targeted.

Okay thanks for the detail. I was testing invisibility and not hide.
I was able to replicate with a rogue, by only hiding, not even sneak. Are there other cases like this? | ||

in my experience buffing on raids its only with rogues, truesight be damned
