idk I regard puns as jokes?
Specifically, if I use a definite pun, or something that doesn't have to be stretched (like angeery), I will call it a pun. But when it's something like a half-pun and just a play on words.. I go for the more general case and call it a joke. So a pun is a joke but a joke is not a pun, for you math majors out there.

if by "yeah" you agree that a pun is encompassed by the realm of joke, then you have nothing to complain about!
but, on the other hand, if you are saying it is a pun and not a joke, then that's a different story. In fact, I won't even argue it because I'm not sure of the definite line and I just kinda made up my own idea there on the subject
