The official story is that after getting banned, Raren rolled a necromancer named Trystych and grinded to 50, where he joined Inglourious Basterds and eventually gained unprecedented levels of trust and ascended through the ranks towards officer status. Over the next few months, became the first 60, collected pieces of valuable raid loot, and finally dropped the foolish, unsuspecting TR scrubs and made off with the loot.

That would actually be better than most of the EVE Online stories about players getting suicide ganked and scammed legitly.

Too good to be true unfortunately.
