A buddy and I were starting something similar, but more of a classic EQ database not based on allah, and not a wiki. It just got REALLY tedious, and when he quit playing for WoW again, and I started school back up we quit focusing on it. We had gotten to a point where it was basically going to be really tedious database entries from there on out (mobs/quests/items) and after doing 2 or 3 zones and adding all of the mobs I could find I just realized it was quite the undertaking for just one person! The classes/atlas section was pretty well finished. You can check it out over at pro1999.com

If you go to Atlas > Upper Guk and then scroll down to the bottom you can see how I was thinking of doing the bestiary. When you click on the mob it takes you to a page for that mob where, when added, we could add the proper loot/information to it but it's just a lot of work to do that for every mob in the game.

If anyone is interested in developing this and fleshing it out, the basic structure and layout is already there, it's really just a bunch of data entry and searching through the archives to get it as factual as possible. I can see about setting you up with admin access and adding things to the database. Just let me know. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The quick answer is: no, because the p99 DB is not public.

I asked previously about obtaining information from the p99 DB for the wiki but it wasn't going to happen.

I would say the wiki is 90% of the way there on items and spells. Other areas such as quests are not as complete.

It's unlikely the wiki will ever be as database oriented as an allakhazam clone. For instance, the list of mobs in each zone is done by hand (for now). However, there is always the potential to make it more like a database. I discussed a start in this post.

It will also never be exactly right/complete, because the DB is not public. But I think that it can be actually more useful, that way, than a complete DB browser which really doesn't let you focus on the most interesting parts.

But that's a wiki, which is automatically a pain in the ass because it's just boring pages of text, and a lot of the info in there is wrong/misleading/whatever because just about anyone can contribute, and only small handful of people actually know what they are talking about or take the time to actually research the stuff before submitting it.
Allakhazam's has incorrect information too. The info on the WIKI, unlike what you find there, is actually pertinent to P99. There's nothing about revamped zones or mobs in the wiki. Some sections of Zam's are completely useless because they are based on newer expansions that P99 will never see.

A WIKI is actually a great way to store this information because of the contextual links. Anywhere you read an item name or a zone name, it's linked to that information if a page exists. This is how people browse the internet now, not how they used to 10 years ago, if built correctly it can be a very useful tool and easier to browse than a clunky database search website. There's a little bit more that needs to be done to link all the mobs, zones, quests etc together but it's already getting there. It's not perfect, but that's why I said it's 80% of the way there.

For example, the maps of zones on the WIKI are way better than most of the atlas sites. All the adjacent zones are links. So I can easily navigate from zone to zone while I'm in game. And all of the important mobs or items found in that zone are linked too, usually all in the same place without even having to scroll down.

I know that. It's the whole reason for me posting this here, if it was public I would have everything I need. I noticed that the Hidden Forest server uses the alla clone and it looks pretty neat. http://www.thehiddenforest.org/clone/items.php

write a parser like magelo did to populate their DB [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

let the parser parse any looted items, and then update your allakhazam DB, then you just have to have a couple pepople run this parser while they are exping, and everything they loot will be logged into the DB ...

Would love to see a Magelo setup for P99
