I don't hate gay people and they don't deserve further ridicule or harassment. But we also don't need to change the definition of marriage or make up special bathroom rules cuz you like it in a different hole and wearing a wig.

I'm as against them being bullied as I am upending decent, civilized society with "I can swing my dick in the girls' locker room" rules. They can do their thing in peace and we can do ours. Don't ask, don't tell. Ez.

This is equivalent to the old "i dont believe in god, but i am a good person" argument. Believe in their god or they wish you to hell.
