Exactly. Maybe eventually you can start reminding progressives that say “we just need better mental health treatment!” that 99.9% of people experiencing paranoia or psychosis are 100% not aware that what they are experiencing is a mental health symptom and not real. And those people will get increasingly pissed off as you or anyone else tries to convince them otherwise, same as you would if I tried to convince you the chair you are sitting on isn’t real. So how do you get them to take the medications that you know will help them but that THEIR brain is telling them is either worthless or even worse, some kind of a poison to control them?

In these situations you HAVE to involve the legal system, and start taking away some rights. And now we are opening up the possibility of physical resistance, combativeness, and the need for police. Progressives don’t realize any of this because they can’t think even one step beyond “we need to improve our mental health systems!”, such as how that would could/would play out in the real world
